Victorious Ministries Through Christ (VMTC)
Paniym Ministries offers personal Victorious Ministry Through Christ personal prayer ministry. Bill and Laura were anointed to minister using this prayer pattern by the Board of Directors of Victorious Ministry through Christ in 2000.
Victorious Ministry Through Christ (VMTC) was founded by Anne S. White in 1971 with the full support of her husband, Dick. How she was given the ministry and prayer pattern is detailed in her book, “Healing Adventures,” first published in England in 1969 and in the United States in 1972.
The VMTC ministry was founded not only to set individual Christians free to walk closer with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, but also to teach Christians how to set others free through their Clergy Schools of Prayer. These schools are not only for Pastors and their wives, but also for dedicated lay people who have a deep desire and commitment to walk closer with the Lord and to help others to do the same.
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners; to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” – Isaiah 61:1-3.
This is the key scripture passage for the VMTC ministry. It was fulfilled by our Lord, Jesus Christ (see Luke 4:16-21).
Jesus came to set us free; at the cross He took upon himself our sins and diseases so that we could be totally healed in mind, body, and spirit.
“Seeing their faith, He said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven you.” The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?” But Jesus, aware of their reasonings, answered and said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts? Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins have been forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? But, so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,”—He said to the paralytic—“I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher and go home.” – Luke 5:20-24
The pattern is based on forgiveness of sins committed against us, taking ownership of sins that we have committed by confessing them in front of our brothers and sisters in Christ, repenting of those sins (i.e., purposing in our hearts never to commit them again), and, finally, humbling ourselves before the Lord and asking for His forgiveness.
When teaching His inner circle of disciples how to pray, Jesus, our Lord and Master, said: “And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” – Matthew 6:12, and “For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.” – Matthew 6:14-15
When we hold unforgiveness in our hearts for one another, the anger, resentment and even hate can cause a root of bitterness to grow inside us. All these things are sin and form barriers between us and the LORD. The LORD has proven that He is willing to help us to be rid of these sins that shackle us so tightly and keep us from the intimacy we desire with Him. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.” – 1 John 1:9-10
As James exhorts in his epistle: “Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.” – James 5:16, and “My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth and one turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.” – James 5:19-20
As Christians, we cannot be “demon-possessed” because we belong to God, but we can be “demonized”, hounded by demons who attach themselves to us through habitual sins, unforgiveness, or even the sins of our ancestors. For this reason, there is a deliverance component to the VMTC pattern.
Satan knows God’s law better than any human; he also knows his time is limited and what his final condition will be. He hates unconditionally even as the LORD loves unconditionally and will do anything to hurt or destroy us, even seeming to bless us, though for our ultimate destruction. He knows that those that sin belong to him and so being free from our sin is the only way to be completely free of him. VMTC does not incorporate hard-core deliverance, because when all sin and unforgiveness have been confessed and repented of and we are submitted to the LORD, our great enemy has no choice except to leave us when we bind and cast him out.
“Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.” – Matthew 10:8
“These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” – Mark 16:17-18
”But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,” – 1 Timothy 4:1-2
